Three Injured in Head-On Crash Near Palm Springs

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle head-on crash near Palm Springs on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Dillon Road, west of Valley View Drive. Investigators say a Subaru SUV was attempting to make a U-turn when it collided head-on with an oncoming Mazda sedan.

All three individuals involved in the crash—both drivers and one passenger—were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. Officials have not yet released details on the severity of their injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not said whether speed, impairment, or other factors played a role.
