Cake4Kids Fundraiser Brings Sweet Support to Local Youth

A local fundraiser is bringing the community together to support a meaningful cause in the Coachella Valley.

Cake4Kids Coachella Valley is hosting an event at One Eleven Bar, where supporters are gathering to help provide custom cakes for youth facing difficult circumstances.

The nonprofit creates personalized cakes, cookies, and treats for children in foster care or those experiencing hardship, helping them celebrate milestones like birthdays, graduations, and adoptions.

Organizers say the national organization has delivered nearly 100,000 cakes over the past 15 years, with the local chapter approaching 2,000 treats served.

The program relies entirely on volunteer bakers who sign up online, bake from home, and deliver their creations to partner agencies that distribute them to children in need.

Leaders say the goal is simple: bring joy and recognition to kids who might otherwise go without a celebration.

Community members are encouraged to support the effort by donating, attending events or signing up to volunteer.
