Free Pet Care This Week in Indio: Low-Cost Clinic Offers Spay, Neuter, Vaccines and Adoptions

Pet owners in the Coachella Valley have a chance to get affordable care for their animals this week, as the Coachella Animal Network hosts a two-day low-cost clinic at the Fantasy Springs Special Event Center in Indio.

Today, Wednesday April 22, spay and neuter services are available for dogs and cats for a $30 donation. An appointment is required, and slots can be booked at CoachellaAnimalNetwork.org. 

Thursday, April 23 adds even more options. A vaccine and microchip clinic runs with no appointment needed, offering rabies shots starting at $13, microchipping for $18, and several other vaccines ranging from $8 to $25, depending on the service and species. Pet licensing is also available on Thursday, though residents should bring identification, proof of rabies vaccination, and sterilization and microchip records if applicable. An adoption event also runs on Thursday, with all adoption fees waived for dogs and cats.
