Average Riverside County Gas Rises Again After Dropping 12 Times in 13 Days

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular
gasoline in Riverside County rose 2 cents to $5.783 today, one day after a run
of 12 decreases in 13 days totaling 12.6 cents ended with an increase of six-
tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, but 2 cents
more than one month ago and $1.094 higher than one year ago, according to
figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 59 cents less
than the record $6.373 set Oct. 5, 2022.
The run of 12 decreases in 13 days totaling 14.6 cents to the national
average price ended with an increase of 1.1 cents to $4.031. It is 6.2
cents less than one week ago, but 7.5 cents more than one month ago and 85.9
cents higher than one year ago.
The average national price is 98.5 cents less than the record $5.016
set June 14, 2022.
