Palm Springs Celebrates Marilyn Monroe's 100th Birthday with Four-Day Film Festival

Palm Springs is marking what would have been Marilyn Monroe's 100th birthday with a four-day film festival at the historic Palm Springs Plaza Theatre, running May 29 through June 1.
The event, called Marilyn 100: A Centennial Film Celebration, features four of Monroe's most beloved films screened over the long weekend, each with pre-show cocktail hours and live performances. Tickets are $20 per film, or $60 for an all-access pass covering the entire run.
The lineup kicks off Thursday, May 29, with "The Seven Year Itch" at 7:00 p.m. Friday brings "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" at 7:30 p.m., accompanied by a performance from the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus. Saturday afternoon features "Some Like It Hot" at 2:00 p.m. with the Modern Men Chorus. The weekend closes Sunday, June 1, with "The Misfits" at 7:00 p.m. as a birthday tribute finale.
