Desert Rodeo Draws Crowds with Family Fun and Sold-Out Seating
The Desert Rodeo is off to a strong start in Thermal, with organizers celebrating a successful opening day and looking ahead to a busy weekend.
Cofounder Cassie Dilaura says the response from the community has been overwhelming, with front-row seating already sold out for upcoming performances.
The rodeo continues through Saturday and Sunday, featuring professional competitions across all eight traditional rodeo events.
But it’s not just about what’s happening in the arena.
Organizers say there’s something for everyone, including a mechanical bull, a kids’ corral, a petting zoo, food and drinks, and brand activations from partners like Jim Beam.
With mild weather expected in the 70s, attendees are encouraged to come out and enjoy a full day of entertainment.
From rodeo action to family-friendly activities, Desert Rodeo is shaping up to be a weekend-long celebration in the Coachella Valley.
