Fans Upset After Stagecoach Music Festival Evacuated

The Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio underwent an "Emergency Evacuation" Saturday night as high winds raked the festival grounds. The Festival resumed again about an hour later, but not before many attendees had left, angering fans.

The set times for the night were altered due to the evacuation and Journey was dropped from the lineup altogether.

Goldenvoice, which operates Stagecoach Music Festival did not issue any statements about the evacuation or set changes. Several fans NBC Palm Springs spoke with were angry because they had already left the festival grounds when the music resumed. They added that the giant video screens across the grounds told attendees to move "quickly and calmly to the nearest exit."

The National Weather Service forecast lighter winds for Sunday, the final day of the country music festival.
