Newsom Reappoints Members to Palm Springs Tramway Governing Board

California Governor Gavin Newsom has reappointed three members to the Mount San Jacinto Winter Park Authority, the agency that oversees the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Board members Brian Conley, Sandra McGannock, and Jeff Olfs will continue serving in their roles, helping guide operations and long-term planning for the popular tourist destination.

Officials say the authority plays a critical role in shaping the tramway’s future, including maintaining infrastructure, enhancing visitor experiences, and ensuring the attraction remains a key part of the region’s tourism economy.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, known for its scenic rides from the desert floor to the San Jacinto Mountains, draws visitors from around the world and remains one of the Coachella Valley’s most iconic landmarks.
