Overnight Road Work to Impact Traffic in Indio

The Indio is alerting drivers to upcoming overnight road work that will impact traffic along Jackson Street from April 29 through May 1.

Crews will be performing pavement repairs between Market Street and Kenner Avenue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. During those hours, lane closures will be in place, with traffic control crews on-site to guide drivers safely through the work zone.

Several nearby intersections—including Jackson Street at Market Street, Avenue 44, and Kenner Avenue—will be placed on flashing red signals and should be treated as four-way stops.

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays and are urged to slow down, remain alert, and use extra caution while crews are working.

City officials say the repairs are part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve roadway conditions across the area.
