Spider-Noir, Severance Season 3, and Hacks: Today's Top Hollywood Highlights
Every mystery forms a complex web, and for Spider-Noir, the path to the answer is a straight line. The official trailers for the highly anticipated Nicolas Cage series are finally here—and yes, that is "trailers" plural. In a unique move for the genre, the 1930s New York-set series will stream in two distinct formats: authentic black and white and "true-hue" full color. Fans can catch the debut on MGM Plus on May 25, followed by the global release on Prime Video on May 27.
Meanwhile, Severance fans are getting a major heads-up from Adam Scott. The series star revealed to Variety that he already knows exactly how the mind-bending show will end. While keeping the specific details under wraps, Scott teased that season three is going to be "great" and filled with surprises. As an executive producer on the show, he noted his excitement to get back on set and start shooting the next chapter of the Lumon Industries saga.
Over on social media, Jean Smart has officially claimed the title of Instagram’s new lip-sync queen. The Hacks star has racked up more than 30,000 likes on a video of her lip-syncing to the Diane Warren-penned track "Hate to Be the One," performed by Izzy Escobar. The song struck a chord with viewers after playing over the closing credits of the latest episode of Hacks, further cementing the show's reputation for impeccable musical curation.
From the dark alleys of 1930s New York to the mysterious halls of Lumon and the comedy stages of Las Vegas, it’s a busy week in the industry. For the latest updates on your favorite stars and streaming hits, stay tuned to our Hollywood coverage.
