Plaza Theatre Rings in 2027 with Lucie Arnaz and Family

Palm Springs already has New Year's Eve covered. The Plaza Theatre announced that actress and singer Lucie Arnaz will headline "Lucie Arnaz and Family: A New Year's Eve Celebration" on December 31, with a 5 p.m. curtain.

The show promises a genre-spanning evening drawing from the Great American Songbook, Broadway favorites, and pop hits, with classics ranging from Gershwin to Manilow, all backed by a live band under musical director Ron Abel. The Plaza describes the evening as infused with humor, heart, and a nod to Arnaz's Latin roots, blending personal storytelling with high-energy performance.

Arnaz will be joined on stage by her husband, actor and author Laurence Luckinbill, and their children, musician Joe Luckinbill and actress and singer Kate Luckinbill, making it a rare full-family collaboration. The Plaza is billing the night as filled with surprise moments and performances you won't find anywhere else.
