Suspect in T'Neya Tovar Murder Case Back in Court Tuesday

Abraham Feinbloom, the Salton City man accused of killing 17-year-old T'Neya Tovar, is scheduled to appear in Imperial County Superior Court Tuesday morning for a preliminary hearing and trial setting.

This marks Feinbloom's fourth court appearance since his arrest. He faces one count of murder with a firearms enhancement and has pleaded not guilty.

At his last appearance on April 13th, defense attorney Melanie Roe challenged the prosecution's evidence, pointing to a discrepancy between two forensic reports on the time of Tovar's death. Roe also noted that investigators did not find the rest of the teen's human remains at Feinbloom's property.

Tovar, a Hemet teen, was reported missing last summer. Bullet fragments found in human remains near Salton City last December confirmed she had been killed.

NBC Palm Springs will continue to follow this case as it develops.
