 Average Riverside County Gas Price Continues to Rise

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular
gasoline in Riverside County rose to its highest amount since Oct. 5, 2023
today, increasing 2.7 cents to $5.938.
  

The average price has risen nine consecutive days, increasing 18.1
cents, including 1.3 cents Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil
Price Information Service. The streak of increases follows a run of 12
decreases in 13 days totaling 12.6 cents.
  

The average price is 15.5 cents more than a week ago, 10.1 cents
higher than one month ago and $1.295 above what it was one year ago. It has
risen $1.387 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran Feb. 28, moving within
43.5 cents of the record $6.373 set Oct. 5, 2022.
  

The national average price rose to its highest amount since July 27,
2022, increasing 7.1 cents to $4.30. It has risen eight consecutive days,
increasing 28 cents, including 5.3 cents Wednesday.
  

The national average price is 26.9 cents more than a week ago, 31
cents higher than one month ago and $1.117 above what it was one year ago. It
has risen $1.318 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran Feb. 28, moving
within 71.6 cents of the record $5.016 set June 14, 2022.
