Manny the Movie Guy Interviews Winner and Finalists of Netflix’s 'Million Dollar Secret' Season 2

The secret is officially out, and NBC Palm Springs’ own Manny the Movie Guy was there to get the inside scoop. After weeks of deception and high-stakes social gameplay, Nick Pellecchia has emerged as the winner of Netflix’s "Million Dollar Secret" Season 2. In a stunning finale twist, Nick executed a calculated blind box swap to walk away with the $1 million prize.

Manny the Movie Guy sat down with the final four contestants—Kat, Caleb, Lauren G, and the champion, Nick—at "The Stag" to discuss the mental toll and the strategy required to reach the end of the social experiment.

For Kat Ellis, the "bubbly boss" from Boston, the game was a constant battle between her personal loyalty and her family goals. She admitted to Manny that while she entered the game willing to "backstab" strangers to help her father retire, the real-world friendships she formed made the deception painful. "It was so hard to lie to people that I actually like," Kat shared.

Caleb, the rancher from Arkansas, told Manny that managing cattle back home was far easier than navigating the "mind-bending" environment of the show. Meanwhile, Lauren Gierth, the "innocent mom" from Louisiana, described the internal pressure of maintaining her calm exterior while her nerves were "swirling like a tornado" as alliances imploded.

The season’s winner, Nick, credited his success to remaining flexible. Offering advice to future Season 3 players, he told Manny, "Be adaptable... and don't go at somebody’s neck too hard at the dinner table. It always comes back to bite you."
