Firebirds Return Home for Key Playoff Games Against Ontario

The Coachella Valley Firebirds are bringing playoff hockey back home to the Coachella Valley this week.

The Firebirds will host Games 3 and 4 of their second-round series against the Ontario Reign on Tuesday and Thursday at Acrisure Arena. The best-of-five series is currently tied at one game apiece, with the Firebirds holding home-ice advantage.

Earlier today, the team connected with fans during a community pop-up event at Spotlight 29 Casino. Fans picked up playoff T-shirts, koozies, pucks, and more — and got a visit from the team’s mascot, Fuego, who drew a crowd (and left a bit of a mess in the process).

Fans are encouraged to keep an eye on the Firebirds’ social media channels, along with NBC Palm Springs, for more pop-up events throughout the week.

Tickets for both home games are still available online or at the box office, with some seats priced under $30. Game 3 on Tuesday will also feature a special Cinco de Mayo promotion, including a package with four tickets and four margaritas.

With the series tied and momentum on the line, a packed arena is expected as the Firebirds look to take control on home ice.
