Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized With Pneumonia, Breathing On His Own

Rudy Giuliani is recovering from a bout of pneumonia, according to a spokesman who tells NBC News the former New York City mayor remains in critical but stable condition.

Giuliani was placed on a mechanical ventilator over the weekend, though as of Monday morning, he was breathing on his own. His spokesman added that Giuliani was diagnosed with restrictive airway disease following the September 11th attacks.

President Trump confirmed Giuliani's hospitalization in a post on Sunday, though he did not specify which hospital admitted him.
