The Devil Wears Prada 2 Tops the Box Office

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is the new box office champion, nearly 20 years after the original The Devil Wears Prada first hit theaters.

The sequel reunites the original film’s core four: Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.

Since the first film, Streep has added seven more Academy Award nominations to her record-setting career, winning her third Oscar for The Iron Lady. She also starred in Mamma Mia!, Florence Foster Jenkins, and The Post.

Hathaway earned her first Oscar nomination for Rachel Getting Married and won Academy Award gold for Les Misérables. Her other projects include The Dark Knight Rises, Ocean's 8, and The Idea of You.

Blunt followed her breakout role with acclaimed performances in The Young Victoria, Edge of Tomorrow, A Quiet Place, and Oppenheimer, which brought her first Oscar nomination.

Tucci reunited with Streep in Julie & Julia and earned an Oscar nomination for The Lovely Bones. He also appeared in The Hunger Games, Spotlight, and Conclave.

Now, two decades later, the cast is back together as The Devil Wears Prada 2 takes the top spot at the box office.
