Coachella to Host Community Town Hall on Utility Planning and Data Center Proposal

The Coachella is inviting residents to a community town hall next week focused on the city’s municipal utility and long-term planning in eastern development areas.

City officials say they will provide an overview of the municipal utility, share a timeline of actions taken so far, and discuss a proposed data center concept.

Officials stressed that no project has been approved at this time.

The meeting will also give residents a chance to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about future planning efforts.

The town hall is scheduled for May 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley.
