Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Tuesday, May 5, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see a mix of Sun and clouds today with gusty late-afternoon/early-evening on-shore winds and below-normal high temperatures in the upper-70s/lower-80s.

Any precipitation over Southern California will be light and widely scattered this morning and fall over mountains and remain West of the Valley.

You can expect lots of sunshine on Wednesday with drier air and near-normal high temperatures in the lower-90s.

As an upper-level ridge of high pressure builds over the Southwest, our temperatures will begin to rise. Palm Springs will heat-up from 101° on Friday to its pinnacle-point of 107° on Monday. (Those numbers will back-off a bit after that.)
