Palm Springs Ramon Park Recognized as First Blue Zones Approved Community in Coachella Valley

Palm Springs Ramon Park is being recognized for its commitment to healthier living after officially becoming a Blue Zones Approved Project.

City officials, including Naomi Soto, joined community leaders this morning to celebrate the designation.

Leaders say the recognition reflects ongoing efforts within the community to encourage healthier lifestyles through programs such as community gardens, walking groups and cooking classes.

The designation also marks a milestone for the region, making Palm Springs Ramon Park the first approved neighborhood organization in the Coachella Valley.
