Three Arrested in Indio Investigation Into Illegal Medical Procedures

Indio Police Department has arrested three people following an investigation into alleged illegal medical procedures taking place at Fajas Salud y Vanidades, a business in Indio.

Police say detectives served a search warrant on April 30 at a business located on Highway 111 that was not licensed to perform medical or cosmetic procedures.

Investigators identified 46-year-old Alfonso Salvador Gomez-Sotelo as the individual allegedly conducting surgeries without a medical license.

Authorities say the business was owned by 46-year-old Sandra Leticia Felix Gomez. A third suspect, 33-year-old Renee Daniela Romo Ramirez, was also taken into custody.

All three suspects were booked on multiple charges, including aggravated mayhem, conspiracy, burglary, and practicing medicine without a license.

Police are now asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim to come forward and contact investigators.
