Asada Fest Returns to Downtown Indio This Weekend

Downtown Indio is getting a little more flavor this weekend. The 2nd Annual Asada Fest is set for Saturday, May 9th, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Center Stage, located at 82881 Miles Avenue, and admission is completely free.

The event draws in some of the valley's favorite local vendors, including Tacos Amor O Tierra, Eladio's Pizzeria, Corner Stone Barbecue, and Elowtitos, among others, all serving up their take on carne asada.

Live entertainment runs throughout the evening, featuring performances by Los Cadetes de Linares and Luna Roja, with DJ DXSJO keeping the energy going in between.

Families with kids will find plenty to do as well. A free kids zone on site includes mini golf, a bounce house, a Zorb challenge, and other games.

Asada Fest runs Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Center Stage in Downtown Indio.
