Cosmos, Lamb, and Locked Out: Happy Thursday, Palm Springs!

Thursday mornings just hit different here in the Coachella Valley, and this one comes loaded with a cocktail, a roast, and a reason to finally update that password you have been using since 2011. Weatherman Jerry Steffen is back with the Hashtag Holiday Calendar Pop Quiz, brought to you by One Coachella Valley, and today's calendar is a lot to toast to.

First up, a reason to raise a glass, because it is National Cosmopolitan Day. This is not a salute to any magazine on the rack. It is a full celebration of the iconic pink hued cocktail that had a major cultural moment thanks to a certain beloved HBO series. The Cosmo blends citrus vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. Cheers.

Next on the calendar is National Roast Leg of Lamb Day, honoring a tender cut sourced from young sheep and a culinary tradition with deep roots around the world, even if not everyone in the studio was lining up for a plate this morning.

Rounding out the trio, and perhaps the most timely holiday of the bunch, is World Password Day. Today is the day to take a hard look at your passwords, think about what you are protecting, and make some upgrades before the riffraff finds their way in. That goes double if your current password is something suspiciously simple.

Today's Pop Quiz: Password Edition

In honor of World Password Day, Jerry brought two trivia questions to the studio, and the control room had some strong opinions. Think you know your password history? Watch the video above to find out if you got it right!

  1. 1) Password is an American television game show where contestants and celebrity partners try to guess a secret word using only one word clues. The show ran on CBS from 1961 to 1975 and was hosted by a man who was famously married to a beloved actress and television personality until his death in 1981. Who hosted Password?

    • A) Alan Ludden

    • B) Hugh Downs

    • C) Monty Hall

  2. 2) Last year, NordPass released its seventh annual list of the 200 most common passwords, and the number one spot went to something that should surprise absolutely no one, and yet somehow still does. According to NordPass, what was the single most common password of 2025?

    • A) 123456

    • B) admin

    • C) password

Watch the video above to see how Jerry and the studio team did, and find out if your trivia game is stronger than the most hacked passwords on the internet.
