New Late-Night Bar Coming to El Paseo This August

A new nightlife venue is preparing to open on El Paseo this August, bringing extended hours and classic hits from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s to the desert.

Rock'n Avenue Bar plans to operate daily from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m., catering to late-night crowds and music lovers in the Coachella Valley.

The project initially faced opposition from some neighboring businesses concerned about potential noise and disruptions tied to late-night patrons. However, owner Patrick Mazur says community support following approval of the project has greatly outweighed the criticism.

Mazur acknowledged the challenges involved in launching a new business but said persistence and belief in the concept helped move the project forward. He also emphasized that his top priority is maintaining positive relationships with neighboring businesses and becoming a responsible part of the local community.

The upcoming opening adds another entertainment option to the growing nightlife scene in Palm Desert as officials and business owners continue investing in attractions aimed at residents and visitors alike.
