Riverside County Gas Prices Continue To Rise Above $6

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular
gasoline in Riverside County rose to its highest amount since Oct. 2, 2023,
today, increasing 1.1 cents to $6.098.
The average price has risen 16 consecutive days, increasing 34.1
cents, including 3.5 cents Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil
Price Information Service. The streak of increases follows a run of 12
decreases in 13 days totaling 12.6 cents.
The average price is 16 cents more than one week ago, 21.8 cents
higher than one month ago and $1.514 above what it was one year ago. It has
risen $1.547 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran Feb. 28, moving within
27.5 cents of the record $6.373 set Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose to its highest amount since July 16,
2022, increasing 2.2 cents to $4.558. It has risen 15 consecutive days,
increasing 54.8 cents, including 5.3 cents Wednesday.
The national average price is 25.8 cents more than one week ago, 41.8
cents higher than one month ago and $1.404 above what it was one year ago. It
has risen $1.576 since the attack on Iran, moving within 45.8 cents of the
record $5.016 set June 14, 2022.
