An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Update on Friday, May 8, 2026!

As expected, that Extreme Heat Watch for the Coachella Valley has just been elevated to an Extreme Heat Warning for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

This same Warning extends South into Eastern San Diego County and Western Imperial County.

Here's a look at my city-by-city temperature forecasts for those three-days in-and-around the Valley.

Incidentally, Valley midday temps will back-off slightly into the upper-90s in a little over a week.
