Meet Alexa: She's Been Waiting Since October

It's Fido Friday, and this week community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Alexa, a five-year-old who has been at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus since October. She's overlooked, but she shouldn't be.

"Alexa was seriously the perfect date," Jen said. "She's amazing in the car, perfect on leash, great with other dogs, and so sweet with everyone she meets. We grabbed lunch and she just hung out like the perfect girl the entire time."

That's exactly what FIDO is designed to do, give shelter dogs a chance to get out, decompress, and just feel normal for a little while. "Sometimes all it takes is one day, one outing, or one person noticing them to completely change their life," Jen said. "Dogs like Alexa deserve to be seen."
