The USGS recorded a mini-Earthquake swarm this afternoon just South of the Salton Sea, 1-mile WSW of Brawley (60-miles SE of Indio) in Central Imperial County. They include...

• 4:14p: 3.49 Magnitude Quake (8.6-miles deep)

• 4:49p: 3.52 Quake (9.1-miles)

• 5:34p: 3.44 Quake (9.6-miles)

• 5:36p: 3.05 Quake (7.4-miles)

• 7:22p: 4.05 Quake (5.6-miles) *downgraded from a 4.50

• 8:13p: 3.53 Quake (6.0-miles)

The coordinates for the 4.05 shaker are 32.969/-115.584 while the others were in the same general area.

In total today -- as of this posting -- there have been 30 1s, eight 2s, five 3s. and one 4.
