UPDATE: Imperial County Earthquake Swarm!

Over 100 earthquakes between Low 1s and Intermediate 4s were detected by the USGS over the last 24 hours South of the Salton Sea near the city of Brawley (60-miles SE on Indio) in Central Imperial County, SoCal.

The largest shaker was a 4.5 at these coordinates, 32.990/-115.552. The others were in the same general location.

The count -- as of this posting -- is 136 Low (1s) magnitude earthquakes, 60 Minor (2s), 17 Moderate (3s), and three Intermediate (4s) quakes. They include...

• 4.4 at 7:27p Saturday evening

• 4.5 at 8:39p Saturday evening

• 4.2 at 12:10a Sunday morning
