Beat the Heat with the Best Bargains in the Desert: La Quinta Brewing Company Unveils Summer Specials
As the Coachella Valley settles into the summer heat, one local favorite is making it easier than ever for residents to stay cool without breaking the bank. La Quinta Brewing Company (LQBC), a staple of the desert craft beer scene since 2013, has officially launched its 2026 summer lineup of deals, community events, and charity partnerships.
"Kai the Deal Guy" recently stopped by the brewery’s main facility in Palm Desert to spotlight what many are calling the best bargain in the valley. For locals who stay through the triple-digit months, the standout deal is "Summer Sundaze." Every Sunday, members of the "Brewards" loyalty program receive 50% off all LQBC draft beers all day. For those just joining, the brewery is offering the first beer for just $1 upon sign-up.
Owner Derek Lloyd, who took over operations in 2024, emphasized that these summer specials are a way to thank the year-round residents.
"We wouldn't survive the summer without the people who live here and support our business," Lloyd said. "We’re always looking for ways to make an impact, whether it's through beer specials or partnering with local charities to make a difference in the desert."
Community and Entertainment
Beyond the Sunday discounts, the brewery has become a hub for community activity. The Palm Desert location recently extended its hours, opening at 8:00 a.m. to serve breakfast alongside "Chavelas" and mimosas. For those looking for entertainment, the schedule is packed:
Mondays (Palm Desert): Trivia Night hosted by Carlos Velasquez from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ($5 entry).
Tuesdays (Palm Desert): Dueling Pianos featuring Felix & Fingers starting May 12, 2026.
Community Impact: The brewery continues its partnership with organizations like Leadership Coachella Valley to host fundraisers and community mixers.
Whether you're sipping on a "Poolside Blonde" or the award-winning "Koffi Porter," LQBC is proving that you don't need a massive budget to enjoy world-class craft beer in a resort-style atmosphere.
