Silver Alert Issued for Missing Palm Springs Man

A Silver Alert is now in effect for a missing man in Palm Springs.

Authorities say 67-year-old Alberto Esquivel was last seen around 6:30 Sunday evening near South Camino Real and East Laverne Way.

Esquivel is described as 5-foot-7 and approximately 150 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.

Investigators believe he may be traveling on foot.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
