Cathedral City's State of the City Event Today

Cathedral City is taking center stage today as community leaders, business owners, and residents pack the annual State of the City Luncheon, and organizers say every seat is gone.

The event, themed "Cathedral City Takes Flight," kicks off at the DoubleTree Hilton Golf Resort at 10:30 this morning. Mayor Raymond Gregory is set to deliver his annual address just after 12:30 p.m., laying out the city's major accomplishments and what's ahead for Cathedral City.

The event will wrap up with an awards recognition ceremony for outstanding community businesses. Residents who didn't get a ticket can watch the event live on the city's YouTube channel.
