Your Palm Springs Library Card Gets You Into Free Baseball This Summer

If you have a Palm Springs Public Library card, you have a free ticket to any Palm Springs Power baseball game this summer. The library is sponsoring the Power's home game series running May 29 through July 17, 2026, meaning cardholders can simply show their card at the box office and walk in, no purchase required.
Games are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings at Palm Springs Stadium, located at 1901 E. Baristo Road. The full schedule is available at palmspringspowerbaseball.com.
The sponsorship was made possible through the Friends of the Palm Springs Library, who may also set up a table at select games throughout the season. Library Director Jeannie Kays says the move was an easy call after a similar partnership during the winter paid off. "This community loves baseball, and when the Library sponsored the California Winter League baseball this winter it was a HUGE success," Kays said, "so we thought Summer was a great opportunity to offer this benefit again."
The Palm Springs Power is a collegiate summer baseball team and a member of the California Premier Collegiate League, which they won in its inaugural 2023 season.
The Palm Springs Public Library is currently operating out of its temporary location at Rimrock Plaza Shopping Center, 4721 E. Palm Canyon Drive, during its ongoing renovation. More information is available at pslibrary.org.
