Eastbound Lane Closures Planned on Highway 111 in La Quinta This Week

La Quinta is giving residents a heads up about traffic in the heart of the city for the next two days. Starting today and running through Friday, May 15, crews are re-striping a stretch of Highway 111 between Channel Drive and Washington Street, bringing eastbound lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

The city is asking drivers to plan ahead, use alternate routes where possible, and allow extra travel time if they need to pass through the area. Caution is advised for anyone driving near the work zone.
