California Secretary of State Urges Voter Registration Ahead of June Primary
California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber is reminding residents across the state to register to vote by May 18 ahead of the upcoming June 2 primary election.
Officials say all active registered voters will receive mail-in ballots, which can be returned by mail, dropped off at official ballot drop boxes, or submitted in person at voting centers by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Voters can also track their ballots through the state’s “Where’s My Ballot” system, which provides updates via text message, email, or voice alerts.
State election officials say California will have thousands of polling places, drop boxes, and early voting locations available to ensure broad access to voting across the state.
