Mark's Burgers Serves Up Favorites for National Burger Month

May is National Burger Month, and across the country Americans are celebrating one of the most iconic staples of the American diet: the hamburger.

From backyard grills to local restaurants, burgers remain a go-to comfort food, with Americans eating billions each year. Food lovers say part of the appeal is its simplicity—beef, cheese, and toppings stacked between a soft bun, easy to customize and easy to enjoy.

In the Coachella Valley, Mark’s Burgers in Cathedral City is joining in the celebration by serving up homemade burgers that customers say stand out for their fresh ingredients and consistent quality.

Owners Mark and Maria say they prepare everything with a focus on homemade recipes and “cooking with love,” serving roughly 80 burgers a day to steady crowds of local customers.

Diners say the appeal comes from the straightforward menu and familiar flavors, with many returning for the comfort and simplicity of a classic burger meal.
