Meet Cece: She Just Wants a Quiet Place to Rest
It's Fido Friday, and this week, community contributor Jen Agnew introduces us to Cece, a six-year-old who has been at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus since December. Because of her painful hips, the medical staff asked Jen to keep the outing calm, so instead of a big adventure, the two simply grabbed lunch and sat together on a quiet patio.
It was enough. "She seems so content just being outside the shelter for a little while," Jen said, "relaxing in the sunshine, just getting to feel normal again."
Cece is sweet, calm, and easy to love. She does well with other dogs, kids, and car rides, though her hips mean she needs a little extra help getting in and out. Sadly, that's also why she keeps getting passed over, and Jen says it's heartbreaking. "None of this is her fault. She deserves a quiet home and someone willing to look past her achy body and see how special she really is."
If you're interested in adopting Cece, or even just taking her out for a FIDO walk, contact the Coachella Valley Animal Campus and reference ID number A-1892301.
