College of the Desert Celebrates Class of 2026 at 62nd Annual Commencement

College of the Desert celebrated its Class of 2026 today during the school’s 62nd annual commencement ceremony held at Acrisure Arena.

More than 2,200 certificates and degrees were conferred upon graduates representing more than 35 countries from across the Coachella Valley.

School officials recognized students for balancing academics alongside work, family responsibilities, and other personal commitments while completing their studies.

College of the Desert Superintendent and President Val Martinez Garcia presided over the ceremony, while Board of Trustees Chair Ron Oden led the official conferral of degrees.

The ceremony marked a major milestone for graduates as family members, friends, and faculty gathered to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026. Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates.
