Downtown Palm Springs Is Getting Its Splash Pad Back
Palm Springs families will have a new reason to head downtown next Tuesday, as the city cuts the ribbon on its newly reopened Downtown Park Splash Pad. The City of Palm Springs Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a free celebration on May 26 at 4:00 p.m. at Downtown Park, 230 Museum Drive.
Mayor Naomi Soto, City Council members, City Manager Scott Stiles, and Parks and Recreation Director Nicholas Gonzalez are all expected to attend. The afternoon will include water safety demonstrations, arts and crafts, and other family-friendly activities alongside the splash pad itself.
For families looking for a free, shaded way to beat the desert heat this summer, the event is open to the public. More information is available at PalmSpringsCa.gov/Recreation.
