Palm Springs Young Playwrights Festival Returns June 7 at Cultural Center
The Palm Springs Young Playwrights Festival is set to return Sunday, June 7 at noon at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, highlighting emerging student writers from across the region.
This year’s event will showcase winning plays written by young playwrights from across Riverside County, with staged readings and live performances led by an acclaimed lineup of directors from theater, film, and television.
Organizers say the festival offers mentorship opportunities as professionals work directly with student writers to bring their stories to the stage.
Tickets are priced at $10, with proceeds going toward supporting arts education programs for local students throughout the Coachella Valley.
The event aims to encourage creativity, storytelling, and hands-on experience in the performing arts for the next generation of local talent.
