Indio Opens Brand-New City Hall to the Public

Indio officially opens the doors to its new City Hall today, welcoming residents to celebrate the completion of a long-awaited civic center in the heart of downtown.

The grand opening ceremony runs from 2 to 4 p.m. at the new Civic Center Campus on Civic Center Drive, near the College of the Desert. After the ceremony, guests are welcome to explore the three-story, nearly 38,000-square-foot building through guided tours and enjoy light refreshments.

The new building sits at the center of a downtown that has been steadily growing, and city officials say the campus is designed to bring people together alongside expanding city services.
