Indio Man Arrested in Counterfeit Luxury Goods Investigation
A 23-year-old man from Indio was arrested earlier this evening following an investigation into the sale of counterfeit luxury merchandise through social media platforms.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, deputies served a search warrant at a home on Alabama Hills Drive and took Noel Angel Diaz into custody.
Investigators say they recovered nearly 300 counterfeit items during the operation, including shoes, handbags, wallets, perfumes, and clothing featuring high-end designer labels. Officials estimate the value of the seized merchandise at more than $15,000.
