An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, May 27, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see lots of sunshine today with gusty on-shore winds during the afternoon and evening hours. More of the same for tomorrow.

A Wind Advisory continues through Thursday for the West end of the Valley into the San Gorgonio Pass, parts of the High Desert and area mountains.

Next -- as that upper-level closed-low moves out of the area to the Northeast -- winds will back-off to breezy conditions on Friday.

As far as temperatures go, the Valley will experience below-normal numbers in the upper-70s/lower-80s today followed by lower-80s on Thursday.

Next, highs will warm into the middle-80s on Friday, lower-90s Saturday, upper-90s by Sunday.
