Brief Fireworks Show Scheduled for Tonight in Palm Desert

Residents living near Palm Desert High School are being advised to expect a brief fireworks display tonight.

City officials say the fireworks show is scheduled to begin around 9:45 p.m. and is expected to last about one minute.

Officials also say representatives from the Riverside County Fire Department and county fire marshal’s office will be on site during the presentation to monitor safety.

For pet owners, officials recommend taking precautions ahead of the display, especially for animals sensitive to loud noises. Residents are encouraged to keep pets indoors in a quiet and secure area before the fireworks begin to help reduce stress and anxiety.
