Preliminary Hearing Delayed Again for Former Silvercrest CEO William Rodriguez

The preliminary hearing for former Silvercrest CEO William Rodriguez was postponed again today at the Larson Justice Center.

The case has faced several delays over the past few months as defense attorneys continue waiting for additional evidence from prosecutors. Rodriguez was not present in court during today’s hearing.

He is facing multiple charges, including murder, hit-and-run causing death, and driving on a suspended license. The charges stem from a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in Cathedral City in October 2024.

Rodriguez has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The preliminary hearing is now scheduled for August 3rd.
