Suspect Arrested After Yearlong Rancho Mirage Burglary Investigation

A yearlong investigation into a burglary in Rancho Mirage has led to the arrest of a 25-year-old suspect.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, Jonathan Martinez was taken into custody earlier this morning after deputies served a search warrant at a home on Jefferson Street in Indio.

Investigators say deputies recovered stolen property during the search that linked Martinez to the burglary, which was originally reported last December on Beverly Way in Rancho Mirage.

Martinez was booked on suspicion of burglary, identity theft, and possession of stolen property. The investigation remains ongoing.
