XOXO Palm Springs Festival Preview Gives Sneak Peek of June Citywide Celebration

XOXO Palm Springs hosted a special preview event Thursday evening at the historic Plaza Theatre, giving attendees a sneak peek at what organizers are calling a landmark entertainment festival coming to the city this June.

The inaugural XOXO Palm Springs Festival will run from June 11 through June 21, transforming the city into a hub for live entertainment, arts, and cultural experiences.

Festival producer Adam Levy said the event aims to spotlight Palm Springs’ vibrant entertainment scene by connecting more than 70 venues throughout the city.

“We’re going to be experiencing something pretty historic,” Levy said. “Palm Springs has over 70 live entertainment venues. The city of Palm Springs is putting everyone in touch to showcase what we do best — entertainment, culture.”

The 11-day festival will feature performances and activations across the city, including stage productions, live music, dance, and visual arts programming.

Organizers hope the festival will eventually grow into an event comparable to internationally recognized festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival or South by Southwest.

“We hope to shine a light on this and build this into something similar to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival or South by Southwest,” Levy said.

The preview event at Plaza Theatre included information about upcoming performances and encouraged community support for Palm Springs’ entertainment scene.
