Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week Brings Boost to Local Businesses

Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is officially underway, bringing special dining deals and fresh opportunities for local restaurants across all nine desert cities.

The 10-day event comes at a critical time for many businesses as summer typically marks the beginning of a slower season throughout the Coachella Valley.

At Larkspur Grill inside Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert, staff members say they are preparing for an increase in customers looking to take advantage of Restaurant Week specials. Executive Sous Chef Jordan says the event offers restaurants an opportunity to introduce new diners to their menus while building lasting relationships with customers.

Organizers with Visit Greater Palm Springs say Restaurant Week serves as both a culinary showcase and an economic driver for the region. Officials hope the event attracts visitors from coastal communities while encouraging locals to support restaurants throughout the valley.

This year’s event also includes a charitable component. Organizers say one dollar from every reservation booked through the Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week website will be donated to Find Food Bank to help support local families facing food insecurity.

Restaurant owners say the event helps keep business flowing during the slower months while supporting local jobs and the broader hospitality industry.

Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week runs through June 7th, with participating restaurants offering special breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus throughout the event.
