Honda Recalls Nearly 100,000 Vehicles Over Airbag Safety Concern
Honda is recalling nearly 100,000 vehicles over a potential airbag safety issue, according to federal regulators.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the defect could cause an airbag to deploy unintentionally, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Honda says there have been no reported injuries or deaths linked to the issue.
Vehicles included in the recall involve certain 2022 model year cars, including the Honda Accord Hybrid, Acura TLX and select versions of the Honda Accord.
Affected owners will be notified by mail and instructed to bring their vehicles to an authorized dealership for inspection and any necessary repairs at no cost.
Drivers can also check whether their vehicle is impacted by entering their VIN on the official NHTSA Recall Lookup Tool.
