Indio Golf Course Opens New Clubhouse and Restaurant Tonight

Indio's beloved golf course is getting a fresh look tonight. The Lights at Indio Golf Course is opening a new clubhouse facility and restaurant at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at the course on Avenue 42.
The restaurant is called The PIN, short for Play, Indio, Nights. It will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Golfers and non-golfers alike are welcome to stop in for food, drinks, and a view of the fairway and mountains.
The new 4,500-square-foot clubhouse was built to serve more than just golfers. It includes a full commercial kitchen, indoor dining, a bar and lounge, a golf pro shop, and outdoor patio seating overlooking the course. The city says the space is also designed to host community events and private gatherings.
The Lights has been a Coachella Valley fixture since 1965 and remains the only night-lighted golf course in the valley, giving players the option to tee off well after sunset.
